Hungarian Prime Minister (PM) Viktor Orban stressed on Tuesday that the European Union (EU) is unable to subjugate Russia through economic sanctions.
In press remarks, Orban pointed out that sanctions reflected negatively on the security of the economy in Europe, as enormous pressures are being exerted on the European community.
"Those who ship weapons to Ukraine are already halfway to the war, but we will stick to our point of view," he added.
It is worth mentioning that the Hungarian authorities suggested, earlier, that (Budapest) could host peace talks, to solve the situation in Ukraine with the participation of Russia.
