Hundreds Take to Streets of Spain to Celebrate End of Lockdown

On Saturday, hundreds of Spanish youth took to the streets of Spain to celebrate the end of lockdown.

In this regard, the young people across Spain danced in the streets and public squares as the clock struck midnight.

They were dancing and singing in Madrid's central Puerta del Sol square. Meanwhile, some of the revelers headed to the beach with drinks in hand, Spanish media reported on Saturday.

Also in this regard, Spanish media reported that massive street celebrations erupted across Spain as the clock struck midnight when a six-month-long national state of emergency to contain the spread of coronavirus ended and many nighttime curfews were lifted.

According to this decision, the domestic cafes, food courts inside the shopping malls, and restaurants will be able to serve dinner again beginning Sunday and can stay open until 11 p.m.
