Huawei Releases Nova 7 Series with 5G Tech

Huawei took the wraps off its nova 7 series comprising of three devices – the nova 7 Pro, nova 7 and nova 7 SE. All three phones come with 5G connectivity, 64MP main cameras and 4,000 mAh batteries with 40W fast charging.

Nova 7 Pro 5G is built around a curved 6.57 OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The panel features a dual punch hole cutout for the 32MP and 8MP selfie cameras and a built-in fingerprint scanner.

*Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G

Nova 7 SE 5G features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) LCD display. It is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 820 5G SoC, paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of storage options.

The camera setup includes a 64-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with f/2.4 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth camera with f/2.4 aperture. Up front, the phone has a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The smartphone supports G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1 LE, GPS (L1 + L5 dual band), NFC, USB Type-C and dual-SIM support. The phone measures 162.31 x 75.0 x 8.5 mm and weighs 189 grams.

Later, Huawei MatePad Pro is designed to support with Huawei handsets, wearables and other devices. It features a 10.8-inch HD display with support for the cinema-grade DCI-P3 colour gamut. With ultra-thin bezels, it has the world’s highest tablet screen-to-body ratio, at 90 per cent.

MatePad Pro presents greatly improved performance and elevated energy efficiency. It also works smarter with Huawei’s self-developed architecture NPU that intelligently allocates computing power while boosting AI performance10.

Meanwhile, Multi-screen Collaboration also enables drag-and-drop file transfers between smartphones and tablets. Peripheral sharing lets users type on the smartphone using the tablet’s keyboard and screen, play music saved on the smartphone with the tablet’s speakers

MatePad Pro also comes in a 5G variant. The iPad Pro 2020 we talk about in this comparison is the 11-inch variant since it is the most similar to Huawei MatePad Pro in terms of price and features.
