The Ministry of Health and Population revealed Wednesday the procedures related to reserving the coronavirus vaccine, according to local media reports.

The health service provider will review the health status of the person wishing to obtain the vaccine to ensure that there are no contraindications that may prevent him from receiving it, while taking into account  the patient’s medical history.

"In the absence of medical contraindications, the vaccine will be taken with a first dose by intramuscular or subcutaneous injection in the upper arm, and the person will receive the second dose after 21 days,” the ministry’s statement read.

The statement added that "If there are no side effects that may affect the continuation of the vaccination process, the vaccine receiver will get the second dose 21 days after the first dose, in the same way.”

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Health is expected to take part in clinical trials that help accelerate the pace of obtaining a safe and effective vaccine.

Many of these successful clinical trials in the world have led to the adoption of many vaccines.

If anyone wants to get the coronavirus vaccine, he/she has to register their names on the following website: http://mohpegypt.com/.
