The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather will prevail in most of the country during Thursday’s daylight hours.
Hot weather is also expected to prevail in the south of the country.
The country also witnesses mist, extending into fog, on agricultural and highway roads in Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, Canal Cities, and Central Sinai.
Wind will occur occasionally across the country.
There is a chance of light to moderate rainfall prevailing intermittently in Cairo, Canal Cities, Lower Egypt, and the North Coast.
The Mediterranean Sea will experience light to moderate waves ranging between 1 and 2 meters in height with northeast surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Moderate weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night, becoming moderately cold towards the end and fall-like in the early morning.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 28°C in Cairo, 27°C in Alexandria, 25°C in Marsa Matruh, 33°C in Sohag, 34°C in Qena, and 35°C in Aswan.
