The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather will prevail in most parts of the country during Monday’s daylight hours.
Extremely hot weather is also expected to prevail in the North Coast.
Wind speeds of between 30 and 35 kilometres per hour (km/h) are expected to occasionally occur in Cairo, stirring sand and dust in the Western Sahara, Central and South Upper Egypt, and the Red Sea government.
There is a 20% chance of light rainfall prevailing intermittently in the North Coast and the North Lower Egypt.
Meteorologists also predict that Egypt will continue experiencing a rise in temperature.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between 1 and 1.75 meters in height with southeast surface winds.
Moderately warm to moderate weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night and in the early morning.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 38°C in Cairo, 28°C in Alexandria, 26°C in Marsa Matruh, 45°C in Sohag, 47°C in Qena, and 47°C in Aswan.
