The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather will prevail in most of the country during Monday’s daylight hours.
Moderately warm weather is also expected to hit the North Coast, while South Sinai and the South of the country to experience extremely hot conditions.
The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Canal Cities, North Coast, North Upper Egypt, and Western Sahara.
Dusty winds will occur occasionally South of the country, Western Sahara, South Sinai, and the Red Sea Governorate.
There will also be a disruption of maritime navigation in the in Red Sea and Gulf of Suez with wind speed reaching 50 to 70 km/hr and wave height ranging from 2.5 to 3.5 meters.
Moderate weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at nighttime.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 32°C in Cairo, 26°C in Alexandria, 24°C in Marsa Matruh, 42°C in Sohag, 46°C in Qena, and 47°C in Aswan.
