The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderately hot to hot weather will prevail in most parts of the country during Monday’s daylight hours.
Moderate weather is also expected to prevail in South Upper Egypt.
The country also witnesses mist on the agricultural and highway roads from the north of the country to Cairo, Canal Cities, North Upper Egypt, and Central Sinai.
Rainfall will prevail intermittently in Cairo, North Coast, North and Central Sinai, Lower Egypt, Canal cities, and North Upper Egypt.
Wind speeds of between 30 and 45 kilometres per hour (km/h) are expected to affect Upper Egypt, the Red Sea governorate, and Sinai, limiting horizontal visibility in some parts across the country.
Meteorologists also predict that Egypt will continue experiencing a decline in temperature.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging from 1.5 to 2.25 meters in height, with northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be turbulent, ranging between 2.5 and 3 meters in height, varying between northeast and southwest surface winds.
Moderately cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night and in the early morning.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 26°C in Cairo, 24°C in Alexandria, 23°C in Marsa Matruh, 29°C in Sohag, 30°C in Qena, and 31°C in Aswan.
