The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to prevail in most parts of the country during Tuesday’s daylight hours.
Light rain is also predicted to hit the Northwest Coast at intermittent periods. Meteorologists also predict that the country will experience a temperature rise.
Wind will occur occasionally in the West Coast, stirring sand and dust in Cairo, Lower Egypt, East Coast, Canal Cities, Sinai, south of the country, and North of Red Sea Governorate, leading to a drop in horizontal visibility.
Furthermore, maritime navigation is also expected to be disrupted in the Mediterranean Sea and Gulf of Aqaba with winds averaging 40 to 60 km/h and waves ranging between 2.5:3 meters.
The Red Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters, varying between southeast and southwest surface winds.
Moderate weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt in the early hours and at the end of the nighttime.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 35°C in Cairo, 26°C in Alexandria, 21°C in Marsa Matruh, 39°C in Sohag, 39°C in Qena, and 40°C in Aswan.
