The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather will prevail in most parts of the country during Monday's daylight hours.
Moderately warm weather is also expected to prevail in North Coast, while South Upper Egypt will experience scorching conditions.
The country also witnesses mist, extending into fog, on the agricultural and highway roads from the north of the country to Cairo, Canal Cities, North Upper Egypt, and Central Sinai.
Meteorologists also predict that Egypt will continue experiencing experience a gradual rise in temperature, with the heatwave expected to peak beginning in the middle of next week.
Wind speeds of between 30 and 35 kilometres per hour (km/h) are expected to affect much of El Salloum, Siwa, and the south Sinai.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height varying between southeast and northeast surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to turbulent, ranging between 1.5 and 2. 5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Moderately cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night and in the early morning.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 28°C in Cairo, 25°C in Alexandria, 25°C in Marsa Matruh, 31°C in Sohag, 32°C in Qena, and 33°C in Aswan.
