Hot Weather Continues across Cairo on Friday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts that the country will witness another decline in the temperature and hot weather, during daylight hours on Friday.

It is also foreseen hot weather to prevail in Cairo, while moderate weather will prevail in the Northern coasts, and extremely hot conditions will prevail in South Sinai, North and South Upper Egypt.

Furthermore, Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department at EMA, predicted there will be a chance of light rain, sometimes thunderstorms, hitting South Sinai, South Upper Egypt, and the Red Sea mountain ranges, at intermittent periods.

Winds will be active in Cairo, Lower Egypt, the Northern coasts, North Upper Egypt, and South Sinai.

Pleasant weather is predicted to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and Northern coasts, at night.

It is also foreseen that moderate weather will prevail in South Sinai, North and South Upper Egypt.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 29C in Cairo, 24C in Alexandria, 26C in Marsa Matruh, 39C in Sohag, 40C in Qena, and 42C in Aswan.
