The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts that the country will witness a slight decline in temperature and hot and humid weather, during daylight hours on Monday.

It is foreseen that hot and humid weather will prevail in Cairo and Lower Egypt, while the Northern coasts will see moderately hot and humid conditions.

Moreover, extremely hot and humid weather will prevail in South Sinai and the south of the country.

It is also predicted that high humidity levels would increase the perceived temperature by 2 to 4 degrees.

Winds will occur occasionally in Cairo, Northern Coasts, South Sinai, and North Upper Egypt, which reduces the feeling of high humidity at night and leads to high waves in the Mediterranean sea, with wave height of 1.5 to 2 meters.

Moderate and humid weather is predicted to prevail across the country, at night.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 35°C in Cairo, 30°C in Alexandria, 29°C in Marsa Matruh, 37°C in Sohag, 38°C in Qena, and 40°C in Aswan.
