Egypt first national football team coach Hossam Hassan will announce the squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers clash on March 13.
Egypt will face Ethiopia and Sierra Leone in the fifth and sixth rounds of the African qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Hassan decided to call up six international players for the team's training camp in preparation for these matches.
The selected players are Mohamed Salah, Omar Marmoush, Mohamed Abdelmonem, Mostafa Mohamed, Hamdy Fathy, and Mahmoud Hassan "Trezeguet."
Egypt are in Group A of the World Cup qualifiers alongside Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Guinea-Bissau, Sierra Leone, and Djibouti.
The Pharaohs currently top the group with 10 points from four matches, having secured three wins and one draw.
