Hossam Hassan, the head coach of the Egyptian national team, is among the nominees for the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Coach of the Year award.
Egypt qualified for the 2026 World Cup after topping Group A in the World Cup qualifiers with an impressive 26 points from 10 matches, remaining undefeated.
The list also includes Croatian Krunoslav Jurčić, the coach of Pyramids FC, who led the Sky Blues to the CAF Champions League title, followed by the Tricontinental Cup, and finally the CAF Super Cup. He also leads the African club rankings according to the global Football Database website and the International Federation of Football History and Statistics.
