CAIRO, March 26 (SEE)- A parade of Hollywood celebrities were on Steve Jobs theater’s stage at Apple Park yesterday along with Apple’s executives to announce for the company’s new video streaming service under the name of “Apple TV Plus”.

Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Octavia Spencer and Jennifer Aniston were among attendees.

The new service will be available via Mac devices, smart TVs and is going to launch exclusive movies, TV shows this fall.

“Apple TV Plus” is expected to compete against streaming giants Netflix Inc. and Walt Disney Co.

Each of the stars who took the stage spoke about their programs that the new platform will broadcast.

Winfrey said she is working on a documentary focusing on sexual harassment, beside other series about mental health.

It is remarkable that new monthly subscription services for Apple’s TV programming will be considered instead of just buying the company’s hardware products.
