The 2025 CAF Awards ceremony, held in Rabat, Morocco, witnessed a high-level Egyptian presence amidst a large gathering of football legends from across the continent.
The ceremony featured prominent Egyptian figures such as Mahmoud Abdel-Razek Shikabala, former Zamalek player, and Essam El-Hadary, the Pharaohs' legendary goalkeeper.
Mahmoud Abdel-Razek Shikabala presented the award for Best Player Based in Africa to Congolese star Fiston Mayele, who plays for Pyramids FC.
Meanwhile, Essam El-Hadary, the goalkeeping coach for Egypt's second national team, presented the award for Best Goalkeeper in Africa 2025 to Moroccan Yassine Bounou.
Pyramids FC president Mamdouh Eid also accepted the award for Best Club in Africa after the Egyptian team's victories in the CAF Champions League and the CAF Super Cup.
Ahmed Hassan, the world's most capped player, was also present at the ceremony, joining a group of other African legends.
A large number of Arab and African stars were in attendance, including Algerian Rabah Madjer, Ghanaian Asamoah Gyan, Cameroonian Samuel Eto'o, and other legendary players.

- Best Women's National Team: Nigeria
- Best Young Player: Othmane Maama (Morocco)
- Best Young Female Player: Douha El Madani (Morocco)
- Best goal: Clement Mzezi (Tanzania).
