Hertfordshire University hosted in Egypt by Global Education Foundation, confirmed its response to the Prime Minister’s decisions to transfer regular study within lecture halls and laboratories to a distance learning system.

The university succeeded in setting study schedules to complete the curricula so that the student is not deprived of completing his studies this year.

The efficiency of using the modern technologies in the educational process demonstrated the satisfaction of students and parents, as well as cooperation is constantly taking place between university professors in Egypt and the parent university in England, in all academic and scientific matters concerning the student.

Also, remote exams were conducted, organized by both Egypt and England, and the results came to accurately reflect the students’ scientific level and the extent of their assimilation of the academic content and skills they acquired.

This factor strengthened the student’s and guardian’s spirit of seriousness and established the justice principle and equal opportunity, while following ministerial instructions in protecting students from Corona pandemic that swept the world.

The University was able to activate the distance education system following the recommendations directed by the higher education and Scientific Research minister Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar.

The recommendations included developing electronic systems and activating electronic interaction through meetings between students and professors on the Internet, and this was a key factor in facing the spread Corona virus.

The university has activated the system for monitoring student attendance, regularity, registering absenteeism, contacting them, overcoming difficulties and setting challenges facing the whole world in these circumstances.

The goal of these efforts has been achieved in exam results for the group of students who were admitted in September 2019 to succeed and not to waste the academic year.

The university is proud of the 2019 students who were the beginning of the educational process at the university; it received many new students for the year 2020 with new programs added this year based on the wishes of Egyptian students.

This comes in line with the needs of the labor market requirements in Egypt and the aspirations of Egyptian students and parents in their desire for distinguished education on Egyptian land.
