Tunisian actress, Hend Sabry announced Monday that her upcoming Netflix TV series “Finding Ola” is not the second season of her 2010 popular TV series “Ayza Atgawez” (I Want to Get Married) as was believed.
“Finding Ola” is influenced by the main characters of TV series “Ayza Atgawez” (I Want to Get Married), which was written by Ghada Abd El Aal. “Finding Ola” is written by Maha El Wazir and Ghada Abd El Aal.
Sabry noted that she will reprise her role as Ola Abdel Sabour in the upcoming series, which will center around how the years have changed her.
“Finding Ola” also delves into the social changes in Ola Abd El Sabour’s life as she tries to cope with the fast-paced world while working hard to rediscover or rather reinvent herself and whose life is torn between her responsibilities and her attempts to find love.
The cast includes Sawsan Badr, Hany Adel, Nada Mousa, Mahmoud El Leithy, and Dalia Shawky. The series will also feature special appearances from renowned actors such as iconic actor Khaled El Nabawy, and others.
The series is directed by Hadi El Bagoury, with Sabry also serving as executive producer for the first time through her company SALAM PROD., in cooperation with Partner Pro & Executive Producer Amin El Masri.
The production of the series kicked off in late January 2021 in various locations in Cairo, ensuring health and safety measures for all staff members.
Sabry can be seen in TV series “Hagma Mortada”, which is currently premiering in Ramadan.
“Hagma Mortada” also stars Ahmed Ezz, Magda Zaki, Salah Abdullah, Mahmoud El Bezzawy, Khaled Anwar, Dr. Mohamed Gomaa, Mayan El Sayed, Ahmed Fouad Selim, and others.
The plot revolves around a man (Ezz) working abroad whom its intelligence agency attempts to recruit him to spy on Egypt, but he contacts the Egyptian intelligence and receives the highest level of training from the officials (played by Nidal El Shafei and Hisham Selim), and severs as a double spy at the foreign agency.
It is written by Baher Dewidar and directed by Ahmed Alaa.
The series is considered one of the highly-anticipated production in the Ramadan 2021 drama marathon.
