Hend Sabry Stuns In New Instagram Photos

Tunisian actress, Hend Sabry looked stunning in a new series of Instagram photos.

Sabry,40, appeared in a green kaftan, with simple make-up and hair-style, which gained the admiration of her fans across the social network.

Hend Sabry upcoming projects 

Sabry is set to co-star in a new film entitled “Kira & El Gin”, which will be produced by Synergy Production company.

The Tunisian actress embodies a unique role, different from what she has presented in the cinema through the last period.

The film shooting started before the holy month after Ramadan, however, the production was halted since the actors were busy with shooting productions for the holy month.

The movie also stars Karim Abdel Aziz, Ahmed Ezz, Ruby, Sayed Ragab, and others.

The film is based on the novel “1919” by Egyptian author and screenwriter, Ahmed Mourad. It is directed by Marwan Hamed.

1919 is a thought-provoking, fast-paced, information-packed historical fiction set to the actual events of a significant era in Egypt’s history.

Its author created a rich and intriguing world in the novel, a vivid recounting of the Egyptian uprising against Britain’s occupation of Egypt through the lives of a perse cast of characters that include famous and obscure historical figures as well as fictional characters.

In preparing 1919, which was published in 2014, Mourad immersed himself for a full year in the world of early 20th century Egypt.

He read memoirs by artists, journalists, and politicians from that era, listening to radio and television interviews from the '50s and ’60s of influential inpiduals whose careers had flourished decades before, watching films from the earliest days of Egyptian cinema, and pouring over letters and official documents nearly a century old.

The author’s work came to light in the year of 2007, when he wrote his first novel, “Vertigo”. Its plot revolves around contemporary Egypt and Cairo’s seedy nightlife, It tells the story of a photographer in a high-class Cairo nightclub who witnesses his friend being murdered in a fight between rival young businessmen.

Sabry’s latest artistic work is film “El Feel El Azraq 2” (The blue elephant 2).

Furthermore, the Tunisian beloved actress will also star and produce Netflix‘s latest Arabic original series.

The project, currently untitled, will witness Sabry’s first experience as an executive producer, which arrives through her salam production company.

The director of the series expressed his excitement on working with Sabry, one of the Arab world’s most iconic actresses.

“The series is a female-focused story that we are sure fans will connect with,” Sharkawi said.

Talking about her upcoming project, Sabry stated that she was excited to be working on a female-focused show, with Netflix as well as thrilled about her first experience as an executive producer.

“I am also thrilled about how with Netflix we can create content that features stories from the Arab world and to be seen by the world,” she added.

The series is slated to begin production in Egypt this fall, which is set to be premiered on Netflix in 2021.

It is worth mentioning that the Tunisian actress, born on November 20, 1979, made her acting debut at the age of fourteen in Moufida Tlatli’s 1994 Tunisian movie “Samt al Qosoor” (Silence of the Palaces).

The movie was selected after 19 years from its debut in Dubai International Film Festival’s “100 Most Important Arab Films” list.

Following “Samt al Qosoor”, Sabry starred in several Tunisian productions until caught the attention of director Egyptian director Inas Al Degheidy who introduced her in 2002 to the Egyptian cinema through movie “Muzakirat Murahiqua” (A Teenager’s Diary).

Sabry’s role in the film gave her immediate stardom across the Arab world and paved her way to more films in the Egyptian cinema as well as highlighted her talents as a professional actress, and she became soon one of the most prominent Tunisian actresses in Egypt and the Arab world.

The actress had also starred in many remarkable Egyptian films including, “Mowaten we Mokhber we Haramy” (A Citizen, a Detective, and a Thief), “Banat West El Balad” (Downtown Girls) “Ibrahim El Abyad”, and “Oumaret Yacoubian”, (The Yacoubian Building).

Sabry received more than 25 awards in appreciation of her achievements as an actress including five awards for her astounding embodiment of an HIV positive woman who suffers because of her affliction from her society in the 2011 film “Asmaa”.
