Businessman Ahmed Helmy honored the student Mohamed Ibrahim, who earned his high school degree with excellence in Alexandria governorate with a total of 98.3%.

Helmy will sponsor the entire education journey of Ibrahim until his graduation from medical school, with a value of EGP 50,000. He also offered him an MacBook and EGP 5,000 to help him with his studies.

Ibrahim faced many difficulties since his childhood, as his parents separated when he was 7 years old. The young student had to work alongside his studies to help his mother with the cost of living, especially in the last year of his enrollment in high school.

The young student has switched between several physically challenging jobs, including a car mechanic, a "Koshary" restaurant, and a vegetable store.

The hardworking student, who earned one of the highest high school grades in Alexandria, wanted to enroll in the Faculty of Medicine to become like the world-renowned heart surgeon, Sir Magdy Yaqoub, yet, he missed the opportunity by 1% and decided to enter the faculty of Pharmacy.

During his school years, Helmy insisted that Ibrahim would not work until his graduation by providing him with full financial support.

Ready to join the faculty of Pharmacy, Ibrahim put his dream before him to give all youth a lesson in perseverance and challenge.
