There is nothing better than enjoying a slice of apple pie that is warm, sweet and decadent especially after a long day at school or work. So, here is a healthy apple pie recipe to be enjoyed during the fall:
- Ingredients:

- 1 1/3 cups of oat flour.
- ¼ a cup of sugar of choice or erythritol for sugar free.
- ¼ a teaspoon of cinnamon.
- ¼ a teaspoon of salt.
- ¼ a cup of oil.
- 2 tablespoons of water.

- 4 cups of peeled and chopped apples (about 400 grams).
- 1 tablespoon of honey.
- ½ a cup of diced walnuts.
- ½ a cup of rolled oats.
- ½ a cup of oat flour.
- ½ a cup of sugar of choice or erythritol for sugar free.
- ¼ a cup of oil.
- 1/8 a teaspoon of salt.

- Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 F before lining an 8-inch removable-bottom tart pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the crust’s dry ingredients together before adding the oil and water to form a dough.
- Transfer the dough to the tart pan and press it down evenly before baking for 12 minutes.
- Mix the apples, honey, and walnuts together before spreading evenly over the baked crust.
- Combine the topping’s ingredients together before sprinkling the mixture over the filling.
- Bake until the apples are soft from 50 to 60 minutes. Let the apple pie cool for about 20 minutes before popping the pan’s removable-bottom and serving. Enjoy!
