The recovery rate from the coronavirus at Egyptian isolation hospitals has reached 83%, after receiving the necessary medical care, according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO).
In a statement, the Ministry of Health revealed that the number of people recovering from the virus increased to 291,214 cases.
On Sunday, Egypt’s Health Ministry reported 951 new coronavirus cases, bringing the country’s total up to 356718.
The total number of COVID-19-related deaths has now reached 20,347 nationwide after the ministry announced 42 deaths.
About 733 patients were discharged from quarantine at isolation hospitals, raising the total number of fully-recovered cases to 296,167.
