The Egyptian Ministry of Health on Friday updated the precautionary instructions against the novel coronavirus, COVID-19 pandemic, that should be followed at home.
The instructions include as following:
- Taking off shoes before entering the home
- Washing hands and face with soup for at least 20-30 seconds
- Getting rid of masks and gloves once you take them off
- Washing canned food with water and soap
- Sterilizing mobiles frequently.
- Washing vegetables and fruits with water and vinegar
- Washing clothes with at 60-70 degrees celsius
- Putting shopping bags aside for a while then washing hands well
These instructions should be followed once people enter their homes.
It is worth noting that Egypt registered on Thursday 39 coronavirus cases, bringing the toll to 495. Up to 21 people were dead.
The ministry raises its preparedness at all the country’s ports and airports to monitor the virus developments, receiving inquires from citizens about the virus through its hotline 105 or 15335.
