Health Min.: we seek to make Egypt center for exporting Coronavirus vaccines to Africa

Minister of Health and Population Dr. Hala Zayed said: “we seek to make Egypt a center for manufacturing and exporting Coronavirus vaccines to Africa.”

She confirmed during a press conference today that a shipment of doses of the Coronavirus vaccine, AstraZenka, will arrive tomorrow from Kovacs.

Zayed said that the epidemiological situation in Egypt is stable.

Noteworthy, Egypt’s Ministry of Health and Population said in a post on its official page on “Facebook”, that the Coronavirus vaccine is safe, effective and stimulates the immune system to form antibodies to protect the body from the virus.

The Ministry of Health and Population called on citizens to register for receiving the vaccine on the website www.egcovac.mohp.gov.eg or to visit the nearest health unit office.
