The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) at Fustat neighborhood south to Cairo, received Witold Banka, Head of World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) on the sidelines of his official visit to Egypt.
Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, CEO of the museum welcomed the visiting guest. The tour included the main hall, lounge of mummies.
Banka acquainted the time-honored Egyptian civilization through the artifacts on show.
He was keen to take pictures in front of the placards of the parade of the royal mummies kept by the NMEC to commemorate the exceptional celebration mounted by Egypt to convey those mummies from the Egyptian Museum at Tahrir downtown Cairo to their permanent place in the NMEC.
