Hawass to Elon Musk: Pyramids Were Not Built by Aliens

The pyramids were built in Egypt more than 4,000 years ago and are considered to be one of humanity’s most astounding architectural achievements.

Billionaire tech mogul Elon Musk tweeted on Friday an unproven theory that the pyramids were built by aliens and that King Ramses II was from outer space.

‘Zahi Hawass responds to Elon Musk's claims’

Renowned Egyptologist Dr. Zahi Hawass responded to Musk’s claims saying: “It seems that the fortune of billionaire did not make him famous, so he began to say that the pyramids were built by aliens and that King Ramses II was also from space,".

"I should not have responded to him because he is not worth it, but I found that this news is everywhere, with no scientific evidence,” Dr. Hawass added.

He continued: “Therefore, I do declare to the billionaire that archaeological, historical, and linguistic evidence prove that the pyramids were built by the Egyptians as well as that the King Ramses II was Sharqawi, from the Nile Delta, and his family lived in (Pi-Ramesses), currently known as Qantir, and ruled Egypt in this period,”

“There is linguistic evidence written inside the tombs of workmen and nobles referring to Khufu and his pyramid, as well as that the pyramid was a symbol of the god of the sun, and that it was a part of the Egyptian pyramids that building began with the third dynasty and continued until the beginning of the family 18,” Dr. Hawass added.

The Renowned Egyptologist pointed out that the tombs of workmen who built the pyramid are clearly proof to the whole world that the pyramids were the national project of Egypt and that they (the workmen) have been building the pyramid in 32 years.

The Wadi al-Jarf papyrus, which was recently discovered, shows the chief of staff, Murar, talking about building the pyramid of Khufu, and cutting stones from Tora.

He also stated in the papyrus that the name of the pyramid of Khufu, is “Akhet Khufu”, meaning the horizon of Khufu”, and that the area of the pyramid was known as "Ankh Khufu", meaning “Khufu lives”.

“I hope that the billionaire will educate himself and read what has been written about the Pharaohs and the Pyramids so that he learns that the pyramids have nothing to do with space and that it was built by the Egyptians and that King Ramses II is an Egyptian Sharqawi.” Dr. Hawass added.
