Dr. Zahi Hawass said that he had 22 television interviews with 22 international channels about the royal mummy parade, indicating that the event that is taking place now is being watched by the world and is considered the best promotion for antiquities and tourism in Egypt.

In his interview with TV host Amr Adieb, Hawass expressed his happiness that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi pays great attention to the Egyptian heritage and history.

“The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization looks like a Pharaonic royal tomb, it provides visitors with a story of every mummy", Hawass noted.

As Egypt is preparing for the royal mummy parade to transfer the mummies of 22 kings and queens from the Egyptian Museum to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, Cairo’s main roads and squares are witnessing intensified security measures.

The security services of the Egyptian Ministry of Interior deployed their forces for securing the royal parade.

Noteworthy, The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented in the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, launched a major advertising campaign to promote the procession of royal mummies on Arab and international social media platforms, especially in the main markets exporting tourism to Egypt.

This comes in the light of the propaganda plan approved by the “Tourism Promotion Experts” committee formed by the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, and headed by the chairman of the board of directors of the Authority.

For his part, Eng. Ahmed Youssef, chairman of the board of directors of the Authority, indicated that this propaganda campaign includes translating all promotional materials and films of the event into 14 different languages, to be published on the official pages of the Ministry and the Authority and in the Arab and international markets.

This propaganda campaign also included allocating advertising space on various social media sites to promote this event in a number of important tourist markets in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Belarus, Ukraine, England, Japan, the United States of America. , Italy, France and Germany.

Moreover, a number of international and Arab television channels will broadcast this event live, in addition to the live streaming of it on the authority’s official YouTube channel “ Experience Egypt”
