CAIRO, Dec. 19 (SEE)- Egyptian Archaeologist Dr. Zahi Hawass accompanied by Egypt’s Ambassador to Brazil Alaa Rushdi visited the Football Museum in Sao Paulo, Brazil, one-of-a-kind museum worldwide.

Hawass also toured the studio where the ‘Pharaonic Carnival’ will be held in São Paulo on March 3 to celebrate the history of blacks. The studio includes models that illustrate the 25th family’s history, known as the Kushite family.

The archaeologist was a guest on the official state radio program. “Egypt is located in Africa, we are part of the Northern Sahara. Egyptian people are unique in their culture, origins, customs and attributes, and the origin of the Egyptians goes back to Egypt. Actually, we were not Arabs but became ones,” said Hawass.

This year the annual carnival is dedicated to Egypt with a cost of almost $1 million, in which various workshops that mimic the ancient Egyptian statues and gods will be showcased.
