Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane won his first European Golden Boot for the top goalscorer. Kane scored 36 goals in his debut season in the Bundesliga in 2023/24, finishing ahead of VfB Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy (28 goals), Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe and Manchester City’s Erling Haaland (both 27).
The prize is presented by European Sports Media since 1997.
Kane’s performance for this season led him to join two Bayern Munich legends who captured Europe's golden boot: Gerd Müller and Robert Lewandowski.
Last August, Bayern Munich announced the arrival of international player of England Harry Kane, confirming his move from Tottenham to the German giants in a deal worth around £100m.
Kane tweeted: "Been an incredible welcome for me and my family in Munich in the last 24 hours! Buzzing to have signed for such a massive club with an incredible history, can't wait to get started! #miasanmia"
