Egyptian squash star Hania El Hammamy has continued her impressive run at the PSA World Tour Finals, known as the “Eight Greatest” Championship, after securing a commanding victory in the semi-finals to book her place in the tournament final.
El Hammamy, the world number one and a player for Wadi Degla Club, defeated fellow Egyptian Ferous Abouelkheir, the world number seven, in straight games.
She claimed a 3-0 win with scores of 11-10, 11-8, 11-8 in a match that lasted 41 minutes, demonstrating control and consistency throughout the contest.
With this victory, El Hammamy advances to the final where she is set to face India’s Sivasangari Subramaniam, the world number five, in a decisive clash scheduled for June 20.
The Egyptian star will be aiming to capture the title and further strengthen her dominance on the international squash stage.
The PSA World Tour Finals for the 2025–2026 season is one of the most prestigious events on the Professional Squash Association calendar.
The tournament is being held in Paris, France, and features the top-ranked male and female players from around the world competing at the highest level.
