Egyptian Squash star and World No. 3 Hania El Hammamy qualified for the semi-final of the Hong Kong tournament that the city hosts between November 27 and December 3.
The tournament is enlisted among the Platinium championships, the highest-ranked category of Squash competitions.
El Hammamy advanced to the semi-final after defeating Egypt's Rawan El Arabi 3-1 in a 59-minute game to continue her way to defend her title.
El Hammamy was among 7 Egyptian players who qualified for the quarter-finals of the competitions in Men, and women's categories.
They were: Ali Farag, Nour El Sherbini, Tarek Mo'men, Mazen Hesham, the title holder Mostafa Asal, and El Arabi.
