Egyptian actor Hani Salama will start shooting early September his new film “taht tahded el selah”(at gunpoint).
The film’s writer, Ayman Bahgat Kamar revealed previously that the movie will consist of a large cast.
“The movie will be a thriller and drama genre. I prefer this genre as an author, which is similar to my previous movies, “min 30 sana”, “asef ala el ezag”, and “Ibn el-Qunsul”.” he added.
The movie also stars Yasmin Raeis, Ghada Adel, Amr Abdel Gelil, Bayoumi Fouad, and others. It will be directed by Mondo Al-Adl and produced by Ahmed El Sobky.
The film witnesses Salama's comeback to the big screen after nine years of absence since 2011’s movie “Wahed Saheh” as well as the actor's second collaboration between him and Rais after Wahed Saheh.

The actor is also starring in another film, “The Priest” co-starring fan-favorite Tunisian actress, Dorra Zarrouk, and Mohamed Mamdouh. The film will be written by Mohamed Nayer, and directed by Othman Abo Labn.
It is worth mentioning that Salama, born on July 4 in 1977, studied in Kuwait during his father’s employment as a media consultant, and then moved to Cairo after joining the modern Institute of Computer Science.
He entered into the world of fame and success by chance when he auditioned to “Egypt International Films”, a company owned by prominent director Youssef Chahine, after it sought new and fresh faces and talents.
Salama underwent several tests in front of the camera and was nominated for 1998 film “Ark el Balah” but did not co-star in it.

He followed Chahine by chance. In the first interview, the prominent director asked if he liked to act to which Salama replied that he loved singing a lot more. Chahine asked to sing any song he wanted.
Salama sang “Ana Lak Ala Toul” by Abdel Halim Hafez, once in front of Engy, his female co-star in 1997 film “Al Masir”, and once in front of Khaled Youssef, each got a different impression each time, which impressed Chahine with his performance and spontaneously.
He worked with during his career with a number of directors, including Youssef Chahine, followed by Tariq Al-Arian, Khaled Youssef, Saad Hendawy, and others, which weighted to his artistic talent.

Salama‘s latest artistic work is the 2019 TV series “Amar Hady”, which premiered in Ramadan.
Amar Hady also stars Aya samaha, Hamza ElEily, Yousra El Lozy, Mohsen Mohie Eldein, Dalia Mostafa, Ashraf Zaki, Kareem Qassem Souror, Hadi el Gayar, and others.
The TV series is produced by Synergy Production Company, and directed by Raouf Abd El Aziz.
Amar Hady is Salama’s third cooperation with Abd El Aziz.
The duo cooperated in last Ramadan’s TV series “Foq El-Sahab”, and TV series “Taket Nour”.
