THW Kiel Knocked Zamalek's men's handball team out of the 2019 IHF Super Globe and booked their place in the semi-finals with a 32-28 score on Wednesday in the tournament, currently held in Dammam, Saudi Arabia from 27 to 31 August 2019.
Kiel came out on top in the first half with an 18-12 victory, before further cementing their lead in the second half as they pulled off a 32-28 win to clinch the victory after a hard-fought game.

Kiel, who qualified for the quarter-finals after beating Sydney University 41-27, now will face either Al -Mudhar or the European champions FK Vardar in the semi-finals of the tournament.
Whereas, the White Knights, who participate in this tournament as the African Super Cup winners, will play against New York City to decide the 5th to 8th positions of the tournament.

The Whites had defeated Al -Ahly in a hard-fought 38-35 game in the African Super Cup to qualify for the Super Globe in April.
