Egypt are set to clash against Angola in the last match of the quarter-final on Wednesday.
The pharaohs qualified for the last eight after pulling off a 28-19 victory over the Republic of Congo in the group stage matches.
The holder of this tournament will advance automatically to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, while the runner-up will play the international play-offs.
The first and second teams in the group will qualify for the semi-final.
Egypt were pooled in Group A, alongside Gabon, Angola and Dr Congo, while Group B includes Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, and Cape Verde.
