Handball: Egypt Defeat Algeria, Reach AFCON Final

Egypt's handball national team qualify for the final game of the Africa Cup of Nations "AFCON," currently held in Tunisia. The Pharaohs managed to the Desert Warriors with a 30-27 score.

Egypt are set to play either the hosts Tunisia or Angola, who will face each other later today.

The pharaohs qualified for the last eight after pulling off a 28-19 victory over the Republic of Congo in the group stage matches.

They also reached the semi-final after topping their group in the quarter-final following their two consecutive victories over Gabon and Angola.

The holder of this tournament will advance automatically to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, while the runner-up will play the international play-offs. The first and second teams in the group will qualify for the semi-final
