CAIRO, May 11 (MENA) – Hamas announced that it has been in contact with the US administration in recent days as part of ongoing mediation efforts to reach a ceasefire in Gaza.
According to a statement cited by AlQahera News, the group said it will release Israeli-American soldier Edan Alexander as part of steps aimed at halting hostilities, reopening border crossings, and allowing humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.
