A delegation from the leadership of the Hamas movement arrived in Cairo, Friday, to discuss measures to implement the ceasefire agreement in Gaza and push negotiations to enter the second phase.
The State Information Service (SIS) stated that this comes at a time when Egypt is conducting intensive contacts with all parties to quickly reach the second phase of the truce, stressing that the intensive Egyptian meetings with Hamas leaders and contacts with the American and Qatari sides come to complete the ceasefire agreement and enter the second phase.
SIS stressed that the Egyptian-Qatari efforts aim to provide the necessary guarantees to move to the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
