Erling Haaland signed a new contract with Manchester City which will tie him with the club until 2034.
The Citizens announced the deal which will span for almost 10 years from the start of this season.
Haaland scored 111 goals in 125 games since joining the English Premier League side from Borussia Dortmund in 2022.
The deal is the longest one in the Premier League. It was reported that Haaland will earn around 500,000 pounds per week.
The Athletic reported that the deal removed release clauses that were in his previous contract.
On the new contract, Haaland said in the official statement released by the club: “Now I want to keep developing, keep working to get better and look to do my best to try and help us achieve more success going forward."
He also said: “Now I am City no matter what.”
