Viktor Gyökeres delivered a standout performance for Arsenal, scoring twice in their Premier League clash against Fulham at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
The Swedish striker opened the scoring in the 9th minute after a brilliant individual effort from Bukayo Saka, who provided the assist. He later added his second goal in first-half stoppage time (45+4), finishing a sharp attacking move to put Arsenal firmly in control of the match.
Gyökeres also registered an assist, marking his first direct involvement in three goals in a single Premier League match for Arsenal.
The performance took his season tally to 22 goals across all competitions, underlining his impact since joining the club.
He also became the first Arsenal player since Alexis Sánchez in the 2014–15 season to score more than 20 goals in his debut campaign.
Across the Premier League, Gyökeres now ranks among the top scorers this season, alongside players such as Erling Haaland and Igor Thiago, reinforcing his status as one of the league’s most effective attacking signings.
