The Ring General, Gunther, will defend his Intercontinental title against Mostafa Ali at the upcoming WWE Premium Live Event (PLE), Night of Champions (NOC), in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
In the latest episode of Monday Night Raw (15/5/2023), Ali won a Battle Royal match that was made to determine Gunther's next opponent for Night of Champions.
The Battle Royal featured: Baron Corbin, Dexter Lumis, Mace, Mansoor, Humberto Carrillo, Dolph Ziggler, Von Wagner, JD McDonagh, Johnny Gargano, and others.
Ali won the match after eliminating Ricchochet, and Brunson Reed.
Until now, three matches were scheduled for the PLE, along with the Intercontinental title match.
Seth Rollins will face AJ Styles for the first-ever WWE World Heavyweight Championship. While, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will defend their Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles against WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, and Solo Sikoa. Also, Cody Rhodes will face Brock Lesnar.
The PLE will take place on May, 27.
