The Federation International Football Association (FIFA) announced on Tuesday that Ruud Gullit and Ilaria D’Amico would present the Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony.
The winners of the “Best Awards” will be revealed during the annual FIFA celebration in Milan on Monday 23 September.
Gullit, who was a former AC Milan midfielder, has a remarkable career as a Pundit and TV anchor in the most significant channels in the world.
D'Amico, who is considered as one of the most influential TV anchors in Italy’s sports broadcast scene, has spent fifteen years in SKY Sports.
On September 2, FIFA have revealed their three nominees for The Best award with Juventus’s Cristiano Ronaldo, Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Liverpool’s Virgil Van Dijk.
Van Dijk, could be considered as a favorite to be crowned as the world’s best footballer after his previous inpidual award after winning the UEFA Champions League with Liverpool.
It is worth mentioning that Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric won the men’s prize for the player in the 2018 award.
