Several areas in Greenland witnessed massive protests against US policies following recent disputes over the island. Large crowds participated, demanding the defense of the island's rights and sovereignty. Protesters carried banners supporting Greenland and condemning foreign interference, expressing their rejection of any threats or pressure from the United States or any other external power on the island.
British Labour Party leader Keir Starmer stated that Greenland's future should belong to its people and to the Danes, reaffirming London's clear position that the island is part of Danish territory.
Starmer added that US President Donald Trump's move to impose tariffs on eight countries, including Britain, was "completely wrong," expressing his rejection of any attempts to exert pressure.
