On Friday, Greece's Prince Nikolaos, son of the late King Constantine, married Krysie Vardinogiannis in a remarkable royal event in Athens.
This marks the first royal wedding of the year, just nine months after Prince Nikolaos finalized his divorce from Princess Tatiana, to whom he had been married for 14 years.
The wedding took place at St. Nikolaos Ragavas Church, attended by members of the Greek royal family and notable dignitaries.
The bride wore a traditional bridal tiara borrowed from Queen Anne-Marie, the groom’s mother.
The guests included senior members from the Greek Royal Family such as Queen Anne-Marie, Crown Prince Pavlos, Crown Princess Marie-Chantal, their children, Princess Theodora, her husband, Matthew Kumar, Princess Alexia, her husband Carlos Morales, and their daughters.
In addition, Queen Sofia of Spain and Princess Irene of Greece attended the ceremony.
