Greater Cairo Sees Moderate Weather on Tuesday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderate weather to prevail in most parts of the country, during daylight hours on Tuesday.

Moderately hot weather is also expected to hit South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.

The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads to Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.

Snow is also foreseen to form on Saint Catherine's heights.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height with northwestern surface winds.

Meanwhile, cold weather is also expected to prevail in most parts of the country, at night.

Extremely cold weather is also expected to hit the south of the country, reaching frost in central Sinai.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 22°C in Cairo, 20°C in Alexandria, 20°C in Marsa Matruh, 22°C in Sohag, 24°C in Qena, and 26°C in Aswan.
