On Friday, golf legend Tiger Woods withdrew from his 2024 debut in the second round at the Genesis Invitational after suffering from flu and cold symptoms. Woods is the host of the tournament at The Riviera Country Club.
He withdrew from the tournament after teeing off on the seventh hole.
Recently, Woods has been suffering from several injuries. Last April, the 15-time major champion withdrew from the third round at the Masters last April.
After two weeks, he had ankle surgery after suffering from lingering pain in his right foot. These injuries sparked after the golf legend had a 2021 car crash.
After he was carried on the golf cart, various people speculated that Woods back pain struck again, but his illness was due to flu-like symptoms.
