Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 2625

Gold prices rose in local markets during Monday's trading, while an ounce rose slightly on the global stock market.

Saeed Embabi, Executive Director of the “iSagha” platform, said that gold prices rose by 25 pounds during today’s trading, as the price of a gram of 21 karat gold recorded 2,625 pounds, while an ounce on the global stock market rose by about two dollars, to record 1,939 dollars.

He added that a gram of 24 karat gold recorded 3,000 pounds, a gram of 18 karat gold recorded 2,250 pounds, while a gram of 14 karat gold recorded about 1,750 pounds, and a pound of gold recorded about 21,000 pounds.
