Gold prices continued to rise in local markets during Tuesday's trading.
Eid Youssef, head of the Gold Division at the Menoufia Chamber of Commerce, said that gold prices in the local markets rose by about 95 pounds during today’s trading, as the price of a gram of 21 carat gold recorded 3,300 pounds, the prices are witnessing a state of successive and unprecedented rises.
He added that a gram of 24 karat gold recorded 3,772 pounds, a gram of 18 karat gold recorded 2,829 pounds, while a gram of 14 karat gold recorded about 2,200 pounds, and a pound of gold recorded about 26,400 pounds.
