Gold prices rose in local markets by 1% during last week's trading, while an ounce on the global stock market decreased by 2.7%.
Saeed Embabi, Executive Director of the “iSagha” platform, said that gold prices rose in the local markets by 25 pounds during last week’s trading, as a gram of 21-carat gold recorded 2,600 pounds, while an ounce on the global stock market dropped by 53 dollars, recording 1,939 dollars.
He added that a gram of 24 karat gold recorded 2,972 pounds, a gram of 18 karat gold recorded 2,229 pounds, while a gram of 14 karat gold recorded about 1,734 pounds, and a gold pound recorded about 20,800 pounds.
