The General Division for Gold and Jewelry at the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce is planning to offer direct sales to the public during the third session of the International Nebu Expo for Gold & Jewellery 2023 to meet local consumer demand, according to Hani Milad, the head of the Gold Division.
The exhibition is scheduled to take place from November 26th to 28th. The division is also considering holding the exhibition multiple times a year, but transportation and insurance are significant obstacles to this idea. The goal of the exhibition is to provide added value for manufacturers and merchants in the local market. It will feature various production services companies, international jewelry companies, and many manufacturing supplies.
Milad said that the exhibition will showcase new fashion lines and facilitate cooperation between merchants.
The division also plans on holding online exhibitions over the Internet for several days to exploit all marketing means and prevent illegal sales via social media, as part of its social responsibility, he added.
The exhibition has also contributed to the state's response to cancel valuation fees on gold jewelry exports, which will boost Egypt's exports, expand the consumer market, and compete with Egyptian products in foreign markets, he pointed out.
