Gold Prices Increase by 1.4% in Week

Gold prices jumped in domestic markets by 1.4% last week, on the other hand, the performance of the ounce wasn't stable during the week. However, it gained few weekly revenues.

Saied Embabi, the Executive Director of the Isagha platform, said that gold prices jumped by EGP 30 in local markets last week.

The gram of 21-karat opened the weekly transaction at EGP 2180. and closed at EGP 2210.

On the other hand, the ounce saw a-dollar-increase last week as it opened the weekly transaction at $1924, and closed at $1925.

Embabi added that the gram of 24-karat hit EGP 2526, while the gram of 18-karat was estimated at EGP 1894.

Meanwhile, the gram of 14-karat hit EGP 1474, and the gold pound recorded EGP 17680.
